Photo and Video Consent
At Acro & Yoga Dublin we like to share what our community gets up to. To do that we take photos and video at classes, workshops and jams. This page explains what we do with them and what you can choose. Agreeing is entirely optional. Whatever you decide, you can still book and take part.
1. What you are consenting to
If you tick the consent box at checkout, you agree that Acro & Yoga Dublin may photograph and film you during our events, and may use the resulting images and recordings, in which you may be identifiable, in the following ways:
On our websites and social media channels (for example WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube)
In newsletters, emails, posters, flyers and other printed or digital promotional materials for Acro & Yoga Dublin
2. What we won't do
We won't sell your images to third parties or use them to advertise other businesses.
We won't name or tag you without asking you separately.
We won't knowingly publish images that could embarrass you, such as falls or compromising positions. If you spot one, contact us and we will remove it.
3. If you don't consent
Leave the box unticked. Tell the organiser when you arrive. We will do our best to keep you out of photos and videos, though in a group setting we may ask for your help in staying out of shot.
4. How long we keep images
We keep images only for as long as we use them to promote Acro & Yoga Dublin. Our website includes an archive of photos from past events. If you appear in an image there and would like it removed, email info@acroandyoga.org with the page link or a description, and we will remove it promptly and within one month.
5. Social media and third parties
Social media platforms handle content under their own terms and privacy policies. Once an image is public, we cannot control copies that others save or share.
6. Withdrawing your consent
You can withdraw consent at any time, free of charge, by emailing info@acroandyoga.org. Please tell us the name on your booking and, if you can, which images concern you. After you withdraw:
We will stop using your images in future materials.
We will remove them from channels we control within one month.
We cannot recall material already printed or distributed, or copies held by others.
Withdrawal does not affect use made before you withdrew.
7. Your data protection rights
Images in which you can be identified are personal data. Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our use of your data. To use any of these rights, email info@acroandyoga.org. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie. For more on how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
8. Photographing others
Please don't photograph or film other participants without their agreement. Ask the organiser if you want to take photos at an event.
9. Under-18s
If the participant is under 18, a parent or guardian must give this consent on their behalf by ticking the box at checkout. By ticking it, you confirm that you are the participant's parent or legal guardian.
10. Changes to this page
We may update this page. The version in force when you book applies to that booking. Last updated: 24/10/2926.
